Gala Dinner

The Next GWiN 2016 workshop will include a Gala Dinner at Johnnie Fox’s Pub – one of Ireland’s oldest traditional pubs. Set in the Dublin mountains, it claims to be Ireland’s highest pub!

Free buses have been organised to transport Next GWiN 2016 guests to and from Johnnie Fox’s Pub and back again.
Buses leave from Trinity College Dublin, Nassau Street, Dublin 2 at 18:15 on 12 September 2016 and return to Trinity College Dublin after the Gala Dinner, leaving Johnnie Foxe’s at 23:00.


About the Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner will consist of a three course meal, followed by live Irish music session featuring traditional Irish ballads and sing-along music. This is known as the ‘Johnnie Fox's ‘Hooley Experience’.
The music session is followed by the Johnnie Fox's famous Irish dancers, who provide a spectacular performance. The "Johnnie Fox's Hooley Experience" is famous throughout Ireland and abroad for its originality and unique atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else.
